The Laundry Struggle

Ok. So most of you know that Awesome and I have been officially living together for almost 2 years now. This is different from sneaking around and sleeping about pretending nobody’s seeing stuff or hiding in the bedroom so our fathers won’t see actions that we’ve done for the past 100 years anyway. Judging us for living together?? Oh, go kill yourselves. We’ve been a couple for the past 14 years. We really don’t care if we end up televised while checkin’ in to a sleazy motel. Which we can do… But I won’t due to cockroach fear.

Anyhoo. The reason about this entire clamor is laundry. He does it all the time with or without my share of it. (the clothes share and not me “helping him” share) So all I do is just shrug and take my stuff to a pro. But, there are times (which is most of the time) when he just washes every single thing.

So, sleepless as I am, I decided to be on the occasional domestic goddess mode and wash his stuff. First, I soaked the whites in whiteners. Then I asked him thru text how long the soaking lasts. He replied “usually overnight” That was 6.am ago. Right now is 11.am and I sent him an SMS saying that I’m still awake and should I continue to wash his uniform and hang them to dry?? And the response was “Yehey!” And I was like WTF?????

Nothing

i am functioning under awesome's time. so i walked at 5AM with him 1/2km to where the jeepneys are. went aboard with him. got off where i can buy booze. walked down to dad's and mom's. stopped over the breakfast/lunch eatery across the street where dad used to buy breakfast/lunch. and bought soup and noodles and egg rolls and grilled pork. chatted with the proprietor. about how dad used to call her from across the street to have food delivered (a special service for dad coz they don't deliver), then i went with my goods and chatted with mom across the street for a bit before going home. then cried my heart out. i really miss my dad.

Merrily Farting

So Awesome is awake at 4AM preparing for work and I won't even elaborate on the title and he's like a 2nd grader still trying to steal some sleep on the couch. After which, I can’t even continue writing this coz he keeps on PEEKING here and trying to get me to sleeeeeeeeeeeeep. Grrrrrrrrrrr. And keeps on being snugly. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Subdued Devious Horns

So it’s almost 4.am and I have the most minimal dosage of alcohol ever encountered by a boozy person who likes the booze on a Friday night. Even Friday night is surprised! Because it was one of the rarest encounters by Friday night with me! Just waiting for Awesome to wake up. Gosh, nurses are so grown up when they have work, especially early morn the next day!

And going back to the topic of boozing and alcoholic content, this is MINIMAL for moi, trust me. So minimal that I feel my angelic halo’s soothing warmth that's settling around my unruly curls is penetrating into my brains, telling me to go to sleep coz it’s almost 4.am. The devilish horns are so totally subdued. For the past 4 weeks. I think they're gonna fight back tomorrow. We'll see!

My Life as Reflected on Facebook (Circa September 2008 to February 2009)

Ok. I've been putting this project off for a year and a half now. That is to collect all my FB stats and post them here. I started out manually; scrolling down my wall and copy-pasting everything to a note pad. Then I accidentally clicked on a link and got taken to another page. So there.

Then, I discovered an .ipa that downloads all my stats into my ipod touch. Alas, I didn't have to keep scrolling down to what seems like the center of the Earth anymore! But I had to do loads of typing, which I didn't have time for. That time, I was too busy juggling between meeting HR-related deadlines and advancing to the number 1 spot in Cafe World.

So I went into research mode and I discovered an FB app that exports my FB stats to an excel file that I can easily download. Still it wasn't able to collect anything beyond the 2nd half of 2009. Which is a moot point, actually.

Finally in February this year, I found out that FB already allows you to download a backup of your EVERYTHING! Photos, albums, videos, friends, all wall activities since the beginning of time -- the works!

And yesterday afternoon, I was in the zone of memories and histories and proofs and individualism and favorite things, which made me post this on my wall:

"they're all on my profile page and plenty of those are as old as the early days of friendster and multiply and even our very 1st PC's hard drive, bless its soul. and if i keep scrolling down and down and down on my wall, plenty are in my stat updates too! and the rest are just in the bedroom, the living room, in storage, my lappy, my ipod, external HD or my blogs! :D (August 31, Wednesday, 5:14PM)"

So I realized that what I had been putting off for the past year and a half, I'm already actually in the mood to do right now. So finally, all my FB stats, in periodic installments, for my viewing pleasure, again and again. Because yes, I love my life and myself and I always enjoy my thoughts, my quirks, my feelings and my activities even if others may not. So here goes:

the movie Role Models is heartwarming and so damn funny!

Especially the battle scene towards the end of the film! And I love the characters played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Bobb'e J. Thompson. Although Ronnie Shields was totally cute and so freakin' funny,I would have loved to wash his mouth with moriatic acid.
